Printing Google Documents
I have noticed lots of people are not seeming to understand what is going on when trying to print google documents so he is an example with Screen prints. If it does not help you please let Jon know preferably on the phone so he can discover what is going on.
Suppose you want to print the scout program (why would you it constantly changes but never mind)
Click on the File and then print.
Next you will get the print settings options up. Here I selected the area of the spreadsheet I wanted to print and told it to print on 1 page.
The next bit differs for each browser. First I will start with Internet Explorer
Here you would click “Save”. A PDF is then saved on your disc and you can open it using Adobe Reader which will then print it.
In Firefox you might see
In Chrome I got something different
I got this odd error but then still got presented this screen:
Here I right mouse clicked and produced
Then got chance to save the PDF produced.
Hopefully this covers most of the problems you might encounter. The key thing to remember is Google Docs prints to a PDF file. You might be able to print the PDF file direct from your internet browser but if not save the PDF to disc and then open it in Adobe Reader.
