Gift Aid – Help the group claim £1000 a year!

The group has not made a Gift Aid claim since tax year 2007/2008. This is a very valuable source of fund raising for us. It means that was can claim back the tax paid on a subscriptions paid to the group. Looking through my current collection of Gift Aid forms I am aware some people have had extra children join the group and a lot of parents haven’t filled in a gift aid form.

For the group to claim Gift Aid a form must be filled in by a tax payer. This then allows us to claim for the previous four years of Subs (if any) and any future Sub payments. Gift Aid is worth over £1000 to the group. For a years subs for one member, £90, we can claim £18 back from the tax office. Please help us maximise this claim.
