Bronze Awards and karate session: 5.15pm – 6.45pm Friday 25th Nov. 2016.

Dear Parents,

We have the following Beavers listed as having achieved at least 6 Challenge Badges, which are sewn on to the front right hand side of their long sleeved shirts.  Please let me know if we are missing any Beavers:

Aiden Arnott, Spencer Aslett, Max Johnson, Jake Saward, Aaron Shrimpton, (Now a Cub but returning for his Award), and Jacob Warner.

Approximately 10 1st Great Notley Cubs who received Bronze Awards when they were Beavers, will also be joining us, with their parents.

Many congratulations to all of them for achieving the highest award possible in Beavers!

These names will be put forward to out District Commissioner, and the Deputy District Commissioner, who will visit to award them on our special Presentation and following Karate Evening, on Friday, 25th November.

The Presentation will start at 5.25pm, giving everybody a chance to be there on time.

The karate session will start at about 5.45pm, after the Beavers presentations and photo’s have been taken, and we will have an extended session up to 6.45pm, which has been confirmed by the instructor, followed by refreshments brought in by the Beavers from both groups and a social get-together, as we have the Cubs Hall time too.  Cubs will be on a hike that evening.

We are happy for any Beavers and Cubs who need to leave earlier to feel able to do so, and look forward to a very happy celebration and get-together with another group.

Please come along in smart full uniform, with food and drink, track suit bottoms and t-shirts, next Friday.

It will be fun and very special!
