Sewage Works visit 3rd June
On 3th June (yes during half term) we have arranged for a trip to the Anglian Water Education Centre in Chelmsford. We are meeting there at 7.00 and will finish at 8.30pm Please bring a completed Day activity Permission form. If anyone has any problems with transport please ask other Scouts and if still stuck let a leader know. Parents are most welcome to stay and do the tour too. Scouts Night Hike – 27/5/11
Scouts are hiking from Bocking to Broaks wood on 27/5/11. Please bring the this permission form. Directions to Broaks Wood are here We have a lot of new Scouts at present so are aware not everyone will have the full equipment. A full equipment guide can be found on the Paperwork page. Here is a summary of what is ideal for a hike: Water Bottle; Get a one-litre aluminium SIGG type water bottle. They are unbreakable, do not leak and last for years. The “Range” in Colchester is good for cheap equipment at certain times of year and their SIGG type bottles although slightly undersize are cheap. This is a preview of Scouts Night Hike – 27/5/11. Confirmation of plans for 20th May
As posted previously the Scouts will be at Marshalls Park. Unfortunately Cub plans for the week could not be rearranged so there will be no Cub meeting this week. Sorry. Beavers will be meeting at the Bocking and Braintree Public Gardens where they will be working on their fitness and doing a nature trail. Please bring this Permission form with you.
