Gliding Update
It currently looks like the weather will become unsuitable for Gliding sometime in the afternoon so the Gliding Club are hoping to be set up and ready to fly from 9am. Can Scouts therefore aim to get there for this time with a daysack containing the normal contents but importantly: Pack Lunch Drink Sun Cream and hat Waterproofs Group Scarf must be warn but uniform is not needed. Exec Meeting – Parents needed!
Each Scout group has an Exec committee which helps deal with the admin side of the group. Leader are not supposed to be on the Exec although they are welcome to attend. Our group would really benefit from having a few more parents on the Exec committee. Parents provide valuable opinions and ideally we have at least one person for each section. We would like more than this however so there is a balanced representation of views. We plan to hold an Exec meeting on May 1st between 8 and 10.
